..die Korpusform der SoCo entspricht eher einer Single Cutaway als einer Double Cutaway. Und dieser konstruktive Unterschied ist ebenso hörbar wie bei einer Solid-Body Gitarre. Der Ton ist etwas "dichter" als bei dem Schwestermodell I-35. Auch hier der Hinweis: Das ist keine qualitative Aussage, sondern eine Frage der individulellen Vorliebe. Die Decke der SoCo ist (wie auch die Decke der I35 - aus massivem Ahorn geschnitzt, gegenüber der der SoCo LC - also dem Schwestermodell mit Laminierter Decke.
